Who feeds the articles and the surveys? ?


Articles and surveys are fed by SafetyGo and its partners, rescue services and partener companies.




How can I make myself available in order to participate to interventions?


You can manage your availability by clicking on the button "first responder" then "on" to be available or "off" to be unavailable.




Can I change the means of transport with wich reaching the intervention place?


Yes, you can change your means of transport through the application in the page "first responder". You only have to click on the button "first responder" then select a means of tranport.




What's SafetyGo first aid kit?


It's a first aid kit including basic equipment to safely participate to interventions and perform the firs aid gestures. For further information about the it, we invite you to go directly to the shopping page of SafetyGo.




I have an aumated external defibrillator (AED), can I report it in the application?


Yes, you can report the fact that you own an AED by going to the page "first responder" and checking the corresponding box.




If I have a first aid kit which is different from the one by SafetyGo, can I still report it in the application?


Yes, you can still report it in the application. However, you must have a basic equipment. This is why we sell a SafetyGo kit, that you can find in our website.

How long does it take for the diplomas to be validated?


We try to validate diplomas within 48-72h.

What's a PSAP?


A PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) is the entity that allows the call and manage the first responders during an intervention.

PSAP code concerns only the first responders that are linked to a partner organization.




I don’t have any first aid diploma, how could the app SafetyGo be useful to me?


Without a first aid diploma you can add, check, modify and report the points of interest on the map, such as defibrillators. You can also receive informative alerts on the newsfeed about prevention and safety. These alerts are sent by the partner emergency services or SafetyGo.




What types of intervention can I be alerted for?


You can be alerted for different types of intervention, everything depends on what we established in terms of using with our partners. We invite you to get the information directly from your services.
The intervention types can be:
- Cardiac arrest
- Injuries
- Malaise
- Traffic incident
- Assistance to people
- Hemorrhage
- Suffocation
- Visual assistance

How many intervention levels are there?


There are three intervention levels: - Base level, called "citizen"; this level includes people trained or not in life-saving gestures. They can be alerted only for certain types of intervention. They have an important role in the application and help often as support, renforcement or confirmation. - Intermediate level, called "first responder"; this level includes people trained in life-saving gestures as vounteers through their company or for private use. They don't practice regularly the first aid gestures. - Advanced level, called "professional rescuer"; this level includes health workers, actors of public safety and trainers in life-saving gestures who daily practice them.




How many score levels are there?


There are no limits to pass to a higher level, you just need to earn enough points. Every level has a number of points that increase depending on the level.
Level 1 – 300 points
Level 2 – 600 points
Level 3 – 900 points
Level 4 – 1200 points
Level 5 – 1500 points
...




How does the point attribuition system works?


Account:
- 100 points for having entered your name
- 100 points for the surname
- 100 points for the bithday
- 100 points for the e-mail
- 100 points for the telephone number
- 100 points for the profile picture
- 100 points for the postal code
- 100 points for diplomas/professional cards
- 200 points for having entered 5 contacts to prevent in case of emergency

AED:
- 100 everytime any time I enter a defibrillator
- 50 points evrytime I check a defibrillator

Intervention:
- 200 points everytime I take part to an intervention




Do I have to leave the application open in the background?


No, it is not necessary to leave the application open in the background to be geolocalized. However, it is recommended to keep it open from time to time for a better geolocation of your position.




I am a minor, can I be alerted by emergency services?


No, minors can't be alerted by emergency services. However, if you are a vounteer fireman, you can be alerted.

Map

Am I always geolocated?


No, only if you are available. We have decided to permanently geolocate to save time in case of alert.You have the possibility to make yourself invisible not to show your position on the map; even the emergency services won't see your position, but you will be geolocated and alerted anyway.




How can I do not to show my position on the map?


Go to the page "map" and click on the ghost button on top of the screen. You will be geolocated anyway to participate to interventions near you in case of emergency. Only your position won't be shown on the application map and the emergency services map.




If I'm invisible can I be alerted?


Yes, being invisible doesn't mean that you are not available. Not to be alerted, go to the page "first responder" and click on "inactive".




Can I filter the map to see only the AED?


Yes, you can filter the points of interest on the map. You only have to click on the button "filter" on top of the screen in the page "Map".




How can I add an AED to the map?


To add an AED to the map, click on the button with a heart and a (+) inside in the top right of the screen, then fill the information fields.




Can I add a fire station on the map?


No, it's not possible to add a fire station, an hospital or a pharmacy through the application. You have the possibility to change, check and/or report a point of interest on the map to update and improve the reliability of the information on the database.




Can I add an hospital on the map?


No, it's not possible to add a fire station, an hospital or a pharmacy through the application. You have the possibility to change, check and/or report a point of interest on the map to update and improve the reliability of the information on the database.




Can I add a pharmacy on the map?


No, it's not possible to add a fire station, an hospital or a pharmacy through the application. You have the possibility to change, check and/or report a point of interest on the map to update and improve the reliability of the information on the database.




Can I delete an AED on the map?


You have the possibility to delete an AED only if you have edited it. If this is the case, you can report it through the application.




Why do some icons on the map have a question mark?


The question mark means that this point of interest must be verified by the community. To do so, reach it to verify its presence and if the information reported are right. If necessary, you can change directly the information found or report an anomaly.




Why are there shaded icons on the map?


When icons are shaded, it means they aren't available or that they're closed.




What represents the stars on profile avatars?


They differentiate users'qualification: - Base level, 1 star: This level includes people trained or not in life-saving gestures. They can be alerted only for certain types of intervention. They have an important role in the application and help often as support, renforcement or confirmation. - Intermediate level, 2 stars: This level includes people trained in life-saving gestures as vounteers through their company or for private use. Emergency calls

What happens when I click on the button "I'm in danger"?


When you click on the button "I'm in danger" it redirects you to the SMS section of your mobile phone to send a pre-registered message containing a link with you geographic position to the contacts you have registered in the application.




Am I geolocated when I call with the button "Emergency call 112" from the mobile application?


Yes, if you call with this button you are directly geolocated from the platform SafetyGo.





Account

What is the unique code of a rescue and security service?


The unique code creates a link between the user and a partner organization. You only have to insert the code or scan directly the Qrcode SafetyGo of the organization to create the link.




What happens when I adhere to an emergency service?


SafetyGo offers the possibility to the emrgency service wishing to do so to communicate through the mobile application. When you decide to adhere to it, you will receive articles and surveys realized by the services you are subscribed to.




How can I add my diplomas in the application?


You can add your diplomas from the page "Account" and click on the button "Add other diplomas" and fill the information fields.




Am I obliged to enter a code to be alerted?


No, it's not necessary to enter a code to be alerted by the public emergency services. Only the people who are additionally affiliated to a partner organization must enter the code to be linked to the organization.




What is the point of entering contacts to warn in case of emergency?


We wanted to add this feature in order to offer to our users the possibility to warn 1 to 5 people from the list of contacts in case of emergency.




How can I delete a contact in the contact list?


To delete a contact in the list of contacts to warn in case of emergency, you have to drag from right to left the contact that you want to delete.




How can I change my profile picture?


To change your photo, go to your profile by clicking on your name and surname. Once on your profile, click on the pen near your photo or avatar.




Can I change my telephone number and keep the same account?


Yes, you can change your telephone number and keep the same account. To do so, go to your profile and change your number: we will send you a code to check the authenticity of your telephone number.




How can I access my profile?


To access your profile, go to your account and click on your name and surname.




Can I change my e-mail address and keep the same account?


Yes, you can keep the same account and change your e-mail address. You only have to go to your profile and change the e-mail address.Once it's changed we will send you a mail to check its authenticity.




How can I delete my account?


You can delete your account from the application settings. Go to your account, then click on the notched wheel at the top right. You will find a button allowing you to delete your account.
